<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic speaker capable of concurrently meeting fixed criteria of acoustic transmittance and effective electrode area. <P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic speaker (1) in a preferable embodiment includes a vibrating membrane (10) displaceable by an electrostatic force; electrodes (20L and 20R) that are provided to face the vibrating membrane and formed from conductive nonwoven fabric; buffer members(30L and 30R) provided between the vibrating membrane and the electrode; and support parts (40L and 40R) that support the flat electrode in a vibrating direction of the vibrating membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
