摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit capable of removing complexity by software processing in setting/releasing the overwriting protection of data by DMA transfer, and easily preventing and analyzing generation of abnormal images caused by erroneously controlled DMAC by software. <P>SOLUTION: An access arbitration means for arbitrating access to a memory by a plurality of memory access means is configured to set the range of an address where writing to the memory has been performed by a prescribed memory access means as an overwriting inhibition area. When writing to the overwriting inhibition area is requested by memory access means other than the memory access means which has performed writing, an interruption is generated to notify a control means of the generation of overwriting.
