<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide clothes-drying equipment having a sufficient strength at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A support 2 attached with an arm rod 5 is inserted at an upper part of a column 1 so that an upper plate 10 of the support 2 comes in direct contact with an upper end of the column 1 and a lower end of the support 2 comes in direct contact with a lower end of a notch 7 in the column 1, and the support 2 is fixed to the column 1 with two screws 28.
