MOBILE STATION, WIRELESS BASE STATION, AND COMMUNICATIONS CONTROL METHOD

Disclosed is a mobile station (UE), being a mobile station that employs two or more carriers in communicating with a wireless base station. If the two or more carriers are configured from a first carrier and a second carrier, the mobile station (UE) comprises a first communications unit, which communicates with the first carrier; and a second carrier measuring unit, which measures the second carrier. The mobile station (UE) is configured such that, if the second carrier is activated when a measurement gap for measuring the second carrier is set, the first communications unit communicates with the first carrier without taking into account the measuring gap; whereas, if the second carrier is de-activated, the first communications unit does not communicate with the first carrier during the measurement gap.
