<p>Designed in particular to attenuate vibration of different frequencies in the driveshaft of the vehicle, the device of the invention comprises a rubber body (1), in the form of a bushing, in which is inserted an annular metal part (2). Said rubber body (1) has internal ribs (5) for fitting it to the shaft of the driveshaft, and may optionally be extended by an axial neck (6) for the coupling of a bracket to facilitate fitting to said shaft. The invention is based on the fact that the bushing made up of the combination of the rubber body (1) and the metal part (2) has a cross-section that is discontinuous around the perimeter thereof, defining therein four sectors of equal angular width, alternate sectors having the same cross-section, which define different cross-sections that create the different resonance frequencies.</p> |
