<p>The present invention provides a method and a system for network search after coverage loss. Said method for network search comprises the following steps: after the coverage of a mobile terminal is lost, determining, according to the probability of a coverage loss occurrence scene, a frequency point to be scanned in priority; and starting the network scan and search from said frequency point to be scanned in priority. In the invention, the frequency point with a high probability of the coverage loss occurrence scene is scanned in priority after the coverage loss, which ensures that the mobile terminal can find a network as quickly as possible and return to a coverage area, with no need for frequent meaningless frequency scan, thus accessing the network more quickly, saving power and extending the standby time.</p> |
