PURPOSE: A carcass ply semi-product and heavy pneumatic radial tire using the same are provided to prevent the penetration of rubber generated in the carcass cords when driving by be reinforced using the reinforcing cord. CONSTITUTION: A carcass ply semi-product comprises a carcass cord(610), a reinforcing cord(620) and a topping rubber(630). Two or more cord strands are each other entangled and the carcass cord is made. The carcass cord has a first array density and is each other separately installed. Two or three cord strands are each other engaged and the reinforcing cord is made. The reinforcing cord having a bigger second array density than the first array density in the upper and lower part of the carcass cord respectively. The topping rubber is covered in order to form a constant interval between the carcass cord and reinforcing cord.
