<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase heat resistance of a polarizing plate by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: An optical device 110 includes polarizing plates P1, P2, P3. The polarizing plates P1, P2, P3 include polarizers 113, 113a, 113b which are respectively bonded to bonding surfaces of transparent heat-radiating substrates 112, 112a, 112b. The polarizing plates P1, P2, P3 are bonded to a light combining prism 111 such that opposite surfaces of the bonding surfaces of the polarizing plates are exposed and these bonding surfaces respectively face light incident surfaces 111a, 111b, 111c of the light combining prism 111. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
