ELECTRICALLY HEATED EXHAUST GAS CONTROL APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically heated exhaust gas control apparatus capable of preventing the problem of being unable to execute exhaust gas control due to nonheating of a catalyst because of energization inhibition even when condensed water in the exhaust gas enters the control apparatus without applying any other system.

SOLUTION: The exhaust gas control apparatus 200 is constructed as follows. In the inside 1a of a conductive hollow base material 1, a horizontal insulating material 5 is disposed to form an upper space 1a1 and a lower space 1a2. Honeycomb catalysts 2A and 2B are formed in the respective spaces. In the base material 1, a pair of upper electrode 3A and lower electrode 3B unique to the upper space 1a1 and the lower space 1a2 are formed. The upper electrode 3A and the lower electrode 3B heat the honeycomb catalysts 2A and 2B in the upper space and the lower space.
