<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for engaging a case capable of keeping an appearance of an apparatus and preventing damage to the case even when an external force is applied to the case. <P>SOLUTION: In the structure for engaging the case, an engaging part 42 having a notch portion on the outside is provided at an end of an base 40. The engaging part 42 opposes to and engages with an engaging part 31 of a cover 30 so that the engaging state of the cover 30 and the base 40 can be kept by being supported by the engaging part 42 even when the cover 30 receives the external force in a direction perpendicular to a cover surface due to an external factor. A plurality of engaging part reinforcing ribs 50 are arranged on a rear surface of the base 40. The engaging part reinforcing ribs 50 comprises protrusions 51 which protrude higher than the engaging part 42 and inclined planes 52 which incline inward of the protrusions 51. As a result, the structure for engaging the case can keep the appearance of the apparatus, prevent a foreign matter from entering from a gap and suppress an occurrence of failure of the apparatus even when the external force is applied to the case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
