<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a developing device capable of restraining a decrease in image density by restraining a sudden increase in a pressure of developer during circular conveyance, thereby reducing stress on the developer; and to provide an image forming apparatus provided with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device includes: a developer tank 111; a developing roller provided in the developer tank 111; first and second developer conveyance paths P, Q; and first and second developer conveyance spiral members 112, 113 for circularly conveying developer in the first and second developer conveyance paths P, Q. Further, at least one of the first and second developer conveyance spiral members P, Q has an end vane 112d or 113d at one end thereof downstream of the conveyance direction. The end vane 112d, 113d include: circumferentially agitating vane portions 112da, 113da in which the dimension of the radial projection gradually increase toward downstream in the direction of the conveyance; and spiral vane portions 112db, 113db integrally wound around the peripheries of the circumferentially agitating vane portions 112da, 113da. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
