<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DPF system with improved convenience compared with a conventional configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An exhaust pipe of a diesel engine is connected with a DPF for collecting PM in an exhaust gas. In carrying out the DPF regeneration, when the PM accumulation amount of the DPF exceeds a certain amount, if the regeneration interval as a travelling distance from termination of the DPF regeneration to start of the next DPF regeneration is less than a set manual regeneration threshold, automatic regeneration is carried out without requesting manual regeneration to the driver. When the automatic regeneration is carried out successively for a predetermined number of times, the manual regeneration is requested to the driver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
