<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partial discharge locator capable of efficiently investigating partial discharge and a partial discharge location method. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna unit 10 comprises: a first antenna element; a second antenna element; and a third antenna element for receiving electromagnetic wave generated by partial discharge; an earth plate for blocking electromagnetic wave arriving from the back to the first, second, and third antenna elements; and a locating part for calculating an elevation angle and a horizontal angle of the arrival direction of the electromagnetic wave generated by partial discharge based on a first phase difference and a second phase difference, the first phase difference being a phase difference between a received signal received by the first antenna element and a received signal received by the second antenna element, and the second phase difference being a phase difference between a received signal received by the first antenna element and a received signal received by the third antenna element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
