<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic wave defect detection apparatus that is compact and capable of effectively converging ultrasound energy into the deeper position of an object for defect detection even with low frequency supersonic wave. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic wave defect detection apparatus of the present invention has ultrasonic wave oscillating elements 20-22, and an oscillation circuit 10 for oscillating the ultrasonic wave oscillating elements 20-22 with a required phase difference so that the ultrasonic wave is converged into the predetermined depth position of an object B for defect detection. The ultrasonic wave defect detection apparatus has a ultrasonic wave refracting face 31 having a required curvature, and an ultrasonic wave refracting member 30 forming a flat oscillating element arrangement face 32 for arranging the supersonic wave oscillating elements 20-22 in parallel so that supersonic wave is emitted toward the ultrasonic wave refracting face 31. The supersonic wave oscillating elements 20-22 are arranged on the oscillating element arrangement face 32 at a required interval to be acoustically coupled with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
