<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for detecting an abnormality in a foundation 11 which is capable of easily and appropriately detecting whether or not there is an abnormality in the foundation 11 of the building. <P>SOLUTION: After a process of acquiring a detection signal of a rainfall sensor, it is determined whether rain falls or not on the basis of the detection signal. If it is determined that the rain falls, a voltage is applied to a pair of aboveground-side energization plates 42 by a DC power supply. Then, a crack in an aboveground portion of a waterproof layer 40 formed on an outer surface of a rising part 13 is detected on the basis of detection of a current, by a current sensor, between the pair of aboveground-side energization plates 42 to which the voltage is applied. On the other hand, a voltage is applied between the aboveground plates 42 and an underground energization plate 45 by the DC power supply. Then, an abnormality in an underground portion of the waterproof layer 40 is detected on the basis of detection of a current, by the current sensor, between the aboveground energization plates 42 and the underground energization plate 45 to which the voltages has been applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
