<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling duct for a disk brake which can obtain high cooling effect by securing a sufficient discharge route of hot air in addition to the intake of cooling wind. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling duct 10, which blows the cooling wind to a pad arrangement part of a caliper 50 in a disk brake, includes a main duct 12 connected to a cooling wind supply port and arranged at the inner side of the caliper 50; an inner duct 14, which guides the cooling wind to the inner side of the caliper 50; and an outer duct 16, which guides the cooling wind to the outer side of the caliper 50. The outer duct 16 is routed to at least either the rotary inlet side or rotary outlet side of a rotor in the caliper 50. Moreover, it is desirable that the outer duct 16 be arranged at the outer circumferential side of the caliper 50 and have an air-blowing port 20 whose opening is pointed to the inner circumferential side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
