<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "pool with stepwise water depths" having courses of various water depths installed in stages so that there are courses with water depths capable of meeting various needs such as uses for aqua walking and exercises, and capable of addressing individual differences in heights in a pool and in the mastery of swimming. <P>SOLUTION: A bottom of a pool is formed so that both ends of the pool are the shallowest while the center of the pool is the deepest. Water depths of the pool are arranged so as to gradually become deeper from both of the ends to the center of the pool for every divided course, and a slope is installed at a course change line so that the bottom of the pool can be flat within the width of each course.
