<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron alloy used for a damping member and excelling in workability, and an iron alloy member formed of the same and exhibiting an excellent damping property. <P>SOLUTION: When the whole of this iron alloy is assumed to be 100%, the iron alloy contains 3-8% of Cr, 3-8% of Ga and 0.3-2.1% of Mn, wherein the residual part comprises Fe and unavoidable impurities and/or a modifying element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
