<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent drunk driving without impairing comfortability. <P>SOLUTION: A control system (100) for a vehicle, is provided in a vehicle (10) with an air conditioner (500). The control system includes: a start up control device for remotely starting up a power source of the vehicle in response to a remote start up request from a distant place; an air conditioner control device for controlling the air conditioner to be started up coincidentally with the remote start up of the power source; an intention detection device for detecting a driver's intention to start the vehicle; a stop control device for stopping the power source that is remotely started up when detecting the intention to start the vehicle; an alcohol content detection device for detecting a breath alcohol content of the driver; and a permission device for permitting a restart up of the power source according to the detected alcohol content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
