摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle skeletal structure having high load absorbing performance by extending a sliding distance of skeletal members as a whole when impact load is applied from the front of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: An under member 8 is provided at a lower position in a front side member 1. The under member 8 includes a front part 21 provided along the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, an intermediate part 22, and a rear part 23. The front part 21 and the intermediate part 22 are connected by welding and the intermediate part 22 and the rear part 23 are connected by welding. When the impact load is applied from a lower bumper reinforcement 5, the welding between the front part 21 and the intermediate part 22 is broken and the front part 21 is slid relative to the intermediate part 22 and the rear part 23.
