USB CONNECTOR

A Universal Serial Bus (USB) connector comprises: a housing (11), an insulation spacer (12) and metal sheets (13) with metal welding feet (14) respectively. The metal sheets (13) are disposed on the insulation spacer (12) and used to be connected with the USB interface of a Personal Computer (PC). The metal welding feet (14) are connected with a printed circuit board within an external component. The insulation spacer (12) is fixed within the housing. Each metal sheet (13) includes a grounding foot (131), two signal feet (132) and a power foot (133). The grounding foot (131) has an extending metal spring piece (15) which is contacted with the housing. The metal sheet (13) has a flat surface. The width of the metal sheets (13) and the width of the metal welding feet (14) are widened respectively; the thickness of the metal sheets (13) and the thickness of the insulation spacer (12) are thickened respectively. Consequently, the USB connector can be connected with the USB interface fully, and grounding effect of the USB connector can be improved.
