PURPOSE: A cut line forming device for an airbag module and a control method are provided to reduce the equipment installation cost of a cutting line. CONSTITUTION: A cut line forming device for an airbag module comprises a heating member(30), an ignition part(40), and a controller(50). The heating member is installed on a skin member along the forming location of the cutting line. The heating member comprises a heating material. The ignition part is connected to the heating member. The ignition part ignites the heating member according to an operation signal. The controller is connected to an impact sensor(60). The controller transfers the operation signal to the ignition part. |
