<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implement that prevents laundry from floating to eliminate the problem of floating parts of laundry remaining unwashed in a conventional fully automatic washing machine in spite of increase in products that are washable in a washing machine. <P>SOLUTION: A sponge part of a lower part of a main body of this invention becomes heavy when in contact with water on a water surface to hold down laundry. The main body is also dewatered at the time of dewatering. An upper part is made of a material used for a bath room mat and acts so that the main body immediately reverts to a shape horizontal with respect to the water surface with supply of water after dewatering and closes multiple holes on the lower part to aid floating. The lower part containing water prevents the laundry from floating also during rinsing. The implement is newly named as "Otoshibuta (a floating lid) for laundry" since it is similar in appearance to an Otoshibuta used for boiling foods (a lid that can be placed inside a pot). It is simple to use: it works so that the laundry is washed well without requiring any further steps after placing it on the floating laundry when a fully automatic washing machine starts washing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
