<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support method and device for suppressing an air conditioning energy consumption for promoting execution of energy conservation measures to be suppressed and supported so that the air conditioning energy consumption does not exceed a predetermined planned amount. <P>SOLUTION: When a use energy predicted amount which a means 2 for predicting a use energy amount predicts exceeds a use energy planned amount, a means 6 for predicting an energy amount during energy conservation predicts the use energy predicted amount during energy conservation when executing N-th energy conservation measures from the use energy amount of a latest energy conservation measures execution period. When the use energy predicted amount during energy conservation exceeds the use energy planned amount, an excessive alarm notifying means 7 notifies need of executing (N+1)-th energy conservation measures of an energy conservation side more than the N-th energy conservation measures together with an excess alarm.
