<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor unit which is low-cost and gives feeling of sensor cap attachment with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The gas sensor unit comprises: a gas sensor 21 having a gas detecting element 22, a sensor terminal 24 inserted to the gas detecting element to connect with an inside electrode 29 and projecting from a rear end side of the gas detecting element, and a cylindrical enclosure 23 surrounding the periphery of a rear end part of the sensor terminal; and a sensor cap 150 having a cap terminal 151 connecting with the sensor terminal, and a cap body 170 which has an insertion hole 174h1 surrounding a rear end part of the enclosure and surrounds the periphery of the cap terminal. The cap body is made of resin, and a cap body seal 160 surrounding the enclosure is fitted into the insertion hole, and the cap body has a rear end seal retaining part 174s and a front end seal retaining part which hold the cap body seal in contact with a surface directed to a rear end and a surface directed to a front end of the cap body seal, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
