<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification data recognition device and a control program of the same capable of correctly recognizing identification data with high reliability without being affected by incident light even if light impinging on the identification data is reflected with high brightness to enter imaging means. <P>SOLUTION: If the result of decoding by line scanning satisfies recognition conditions, the result is confirmed as the result of recognition on a bar-code.
