<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker capable of detecting a boiling over with less cost and space. <P>SOLUTION: The induction heating cooker comprises an electrode arranged on the rear surface of a top plate in such a way that an air layer does not exist between the top plate, a capacitance measuring means for measuring a capacitance between the electrode and a predetermined potential, a control circuit for controlling a driving circuit in accordance with a measurement result by the capacitance measuring means, and an operation section in a capacitance type to determine whether or not an operation command is done in accordance with the variation of capacitance. The electrode is being pressed to the rear surface of the top plate by a spring structure, and also serves as a capacitance measuring means, as a part of capacitance measuring circuit of the operation unit or as a substrate. When the capacitance between the electrode and the predetermined potential varies, the control circuit determines that a boiling over has occurred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
