PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate noise from a picked-up image signal.

SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus for imaging a subject with a plurality of lenses provided in different locations comprises: an imaging unit for generating a plurality of picked-up image signals by imaging a subject image through each of the plurality of lenses; and a noise elimination unit for generating a plurality of real space image signals in which noise is eliminated from the plurality of picked-up image signals. The noise elimination unit comprises; a spatial frequency signal generation unit for converting the plurality of picked-up image signals into signals in spatial frequency domain to generate a plurality of space frequency signals; a difference calculation unit for calculates difference values representing difference among the plurality of spatial frequency signals in a predetermined spatial frequency, a correction signal generation unit for generating a plurality of correction signals in which the plurality of spatial frequency signals are corrected in accordance with the difference values; and a real space image signal generation unit for converting the plurality of correction signals into signals in real space domain to generate the plurality of real space image signals.
