INFORMATION PROCESSOR, USER AUTHENTICATION METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a user authentication process required for access from an information processor in which information used for user authentication has been updated to another information processor without reducing usability.

SOLUTION: An MFP 110 for managing first and second conversion values of user authentication information inquires whether an MFP 120 performs a user authentication process using any of the conversion values. The MFP 110 transmits information based on the conversion value according to the result of the inquiry to the MFP 120. The MFP 120 then performs a user authentication process using the information based on the conversion value according to the result of the inquiry and conversion values managed by the MFP 120.
