<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measuring device capable of measuring the interval between the subjects of measurement or the height of the subject of the measurement through simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: The distance measuring device 1 includes: a light emitting part 20 which emits laser beams; an objective lens 14 which irradiates light emitted from the light emitting part 20 to a target 5; a light receiving part 25 which receives the reflected light from the target 5 through a light receiving lens 15; and a distance calculating part 41A which calculates the distance to the target 5 based on the reflected light received by the light receiving part 25. Visual field angle setting parts (a rotating ring 31, a rotary position detecting potentiometer 32 and an angle calculating part 33) are provided which set a visual field angle relative to two targets 5a, 5b, and an interval calculating portion 41B is also provided which computes the distance between the two targets 5a, 5b on the basis of the visual field angle set by these visual field angle setting parts and the distance measurement result calculated by the distance calculating part 41A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
