<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball for ball game that can be easily filled with air even by a woman or the like who is not powerful, effectively prevents a foreign matter from entering and is easy to handle. <P>SOLUTION: The ball for ball game includes an air valve 2 attached to a bag-like ball body 1. The valve 2 includes a holder 3 and a valve core 4. The holder 3 includes: a holder body 32 having a support hole 31 into which the valve core 4 is pressed; a base part 33 projecting from the periphery of the base end of the holder body 32 and mounted on the inner surface of the ball body 1; and a groove part 34 having a large diameter provided at the middle of the support hole 31.
