<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle fender liner which can be easily formed into a three-dimensional shape, and is configured to exhibit high sound absorbing properties and excellent anti-icing properties. <P>SOLUTION: The fender liner, which is an external sound absorbing member for vehicle, is provided with a base material layer 11 that has a sound absorbing action. The base material layer 11 is obtained by: manufacturing a sheet consisting of a fiber web formed by entangling main fibers 12 and binder fibers 13 having a lower melting point than that of the main fibers 12; integrally providing a waterproof protective film 15 consisting of LDPE resin on the sheet-like web; and subsequently, heat-press forming into the shape of the fender liner three-dimensionally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
