<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glove compartment that can be used for a cup holder by which a cup, a drink can, a glass etc. are held in a standing state for drinking, and for a box for small articles, and also can be used for the holder of an electronic device etc., in which sliding off of the small articles can be prevented when it is incorporated into a seat armrest and when falling down and raising the armrest, and whose forced extraction is enabled, so that a digital device can be operated and appreciated. <P>SOLUTION: The glove compartment includes: a nearly rectangular box 11 whose upper end 22 is opened to a nearly rectangular opening 23, and where a peripheral flange 28 is projected to the outer periphery 21 of a sidewall 20 at the upper end 22; and a pinching flap 12 projected from one side 27 of a pair of short opening edges 26, 27 facing each other at the nearly rectangular opening 23 to the inside of the opening 23 in a such a form that the tip comes down.
