<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp a workpiece in various kinds of grasping forms without being limited to the grasping form that grasps the workpiece by bringing a grasping member by making it equally pressure-contact with the corresponding place of the workpiece, grasp the workpiece by individually moving a pair of the grasping members, miniaturize a device, and reduce the weight thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The grasping members are mounted to piston rods of two cylinders, respectively, arranged in such a way that mutual axes are parallel with each other and mutual operating directions become opposite to each other, and the workpiece is grasped by moving each grasping member in a mutually approaching direction or a separating direction by the operation of the cylinders. A workpiece grasping device includes guide rods making the piston rods and the axes coincide with each other at a back pressure side of each piston and protruded outside the cylinders to be arranged, and support members arranged at grasping members and inserting and supporting the respective guide rods protruded to the outside the cylinders. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
