<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the long life of an electrode by using an electrode polishing device with which the work time for dressing the electrode is shortened and power consumption is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrode polishing device 1 including a rotary edge with which an electrode for spot welding is polished and a holder 2 for holding the rotary edge, the rotary edge is constituted of a cutting edge 4 for the tip part, with which the tip part of the electrode is cut and the cutting edge 5 for shoulder parts which is arranged on the leading side in the rotational direction to the cutting edge 4 for the tip part to the tip part of the electrode and with which a curved shoulder part over the side face of the electrode is cut and the cutting edge 4 for the tip part and the cutting edge 5 for the shoulder part are mounted respectively independently on the holder 2. The holder 2 is provided with a first recessed part in which the cutting edge 4 for the tip part is housed from one side in the revolving shaft of the holder 2 and a second recessed part in which the cutting edge 5 for the shoulder part is housed from one side of the axis of rotation of the holder 2 and the cutting edge 4 for the tip part and the cutting edge 5 for the shoulder part are constituted attachably and detachably to the first and the second recessed parts. The cutting edge 4 for the tip part and the cutting edge 5 for the shoulder part are adjustable to the relief angle and a projecting margin corresponding to respective objective region of cutting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
