<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work shoe and safety shoe whose remaining volume and remaining amount can be reduced by changing shapes through bulk reduction treatment, in disposing of the safety shoe or the work shoe after use that are manufactured so as to firmly keep the prototype by using a toe puff or the like, and also to provide components of these shoes. <P>SOLUTION: The components are: the toe puff 1 of the safety shoe or the work shoe, the toe puff made of materials selected from polycarbonate resin, polyamide resin, ABS resin, POM resin, Duracon(R), and liquid crystal polymer which are materials having less remaining amount or less remaining volume of solid as a result of bulk reduction treatment; the sole 8 and an upper 5 of the safety shoe or the work shoe, the sole and the upper made of thermoplastic resin selected from EVA or TR; and a binding fixing means used for the safety shoe or the work shoe, the binding fixing means made of polyethylene of thermoplastic resin which is the material having no residual solid or having less remaining volume of solid as a result of bulk reduction treatment.
