METHOD FOR MODIFYING RUBBER MIXES AND RUBBERS

The invention relates to a method for modifying rubber mixes and general and special-purpose rubbers based on high-molecular carbon-chain polymers. A method is described for modifying rubber mixes and rubbers with the aid of unsaturated polyketones, the composition of which contains carbonyl groups and double carbon-carbon bonds statistically distributed along the polymer chain. The modification is carried out by adding from 51 to 100% by mass of unsaturated polyketones relative to the total quantity of high-molecular carbon-chain caoutchouc and unsaturated polyketone to the rubber mix. The unsaturated polyketones used for the modification comprise from 0.1 to 2% by mass of oxygen in the form of carbonyl groups and have a number-average molecular weight of from 19000 to 120000. The technical result is that the method makes it possible to increase the strength of the bond of coating rubber to a metal cord and the fatigue life of the rubber.
