The assembly has a fuse holder tube (21) pivotally mounted on a trunnion of a fuse-breaker. The fuse-breaker has a drive lever (3) pivoting on the trunnion in a direction opposite of a direction of pivoting of the tube, and a breaking lever (7) actuated by the drive lever. The mounting of the levers and the tube on the trunnion leaves sufficiently clear an area in the vicinity of an open lower end of the tube regardless of position of the levers and the tube in order to allow gases produced by breaking a fuse wire of a wire-fuse circuit-breaker to exhaust without disturbing flow of the gases. An independent claim is also included for a method for renovating a wire-fuse circuit-breaker.
