ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR MEASURING AND DISPLAYING BRAIN ELECTRIC SIGNALS WITH DIGITAL FILTRATION

The invention relates to an electronic device for measuring and displaying brain electric signals which allows EEG signal amplification, splitting said signal by digital filtration into frequency bands corresponding to delta, theta,αandβwaves, respectively, display of said signals and interpretation thereof, as well as associating luminous and acoustic signals upon occurrence thereof. According to the invention, the device consists of a pre-amplifying stage (9) which takes over the electric signal picked up by the electrodes of an EEG apparatus and sends it to a signal amplifier (8) which amplifies it to a level suitable to an analog-to-digital converter of a microcontroller (1) by means of which there are implemented some digital filters which control a graphic display (2) meant for the signal graphical representation and user interface, a block (3) with light-emitting diodes signalling the presence of various types of waves, as well as an audio amplifier (7) connected to a loudspeaker (6) for sound play, which receives data and commands from a keyboard (4) with six buttons and from a digital encoder (5). The device electric supply is achieved by means of a commutation stabilizer (11) in connection with a linear stabilizer (10) providing the microcontroller (1) with a 3.3 V voltage.
