The invention relates to agricultural machinery, namely to tall-stalked crop panicle cutoff and chopper assemblies, and can be used in designing new and upgrading existing harvesters.The tall-stalked crop panicle cutoff and chopper harvester comprises a frame, on which are mounted central (2) and lateral (3) dividers, panicle cutoff and chopper assemblies (4), equipped with drives (7) and made in the form of vertical cylindrical carcasses (5). On the outer surface of carcasses (5) are fixed spiral blades (6). On the wall of the central divider (2), adjacent to the incident side of the panicle cutoff and chopper assembly (4) is set an anticutting plate (8). The harvester also contains a casing, adjacently placed to the assembly for removal of cut and chopped panicles.The result is to reduce the loss of panicles and seeds therein.
