The present invention relates to an extended search word selection system and a method for selecting an extended search word, in which related words associated with a search word of a user are provided to select an extended search word. According to the present invention, the extended search word selection system comprises: a search server which receives a keyword of a user, and searches and provides related words corresponding to the keyword; and a user terminal which horizontally arrays n number of word list windows to display the windows on the screen, receives a search word and similar words by transmitting the search word inputted from the user to the search server to display the received words on a first word list window, receives the related words of the search word to display the words on a second word list window, transmits a selected keyword to the search server if a particular word of the words on the individual word list windows is selected as the keyword, and receives related words of said keyword to display the words on other adjacent word list windows. The user is able to select a plurality of search words by receiving, step by step, the related words corresponding to the keyword on the word list windows during the searching step. |
