<p>PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing waste coal ash for collecting carbon dioxide using a melting process is provided to improve the production rate of zeolite by adding a high temperature melting process to a coal ash and sodium hydroxide mixing process. CONSTITUTION: Sodium hydroxide and coal ash are mixed at a weight ratio of 1:2, and the mixed material is molten at 550 degrees Celsius for 1 hours. The molten mixture is pulverized, and ion exchanging water and NaAlO_2 are added to the mixture. A reaction is implemented using a stirrer at the room temperature and atmospheric pressure for 12 hours. Slurry is hydrothermal-synthesized at 100 degrees Celsius for 12 hours using a heating mantle. Repeated washing and filtering processes are followed.</p> |
