The present invention provides a method and device for controlling network apparatus remotely via a network address configuration server. Wherein, the control information of the network apparatus is packaged into an extended field of the network address configuration protocol message. With the method, device or apparatus, the network address configuration server can be used not only for configuration of network address for network apparatus, but for communicating a control information to network apparatus so as to implement remote control of network apparatus. |
