<p>A table (1) includes a pair of leg portions (13) that has a length in a vertical direction and is hollow in shape with an opening (15) formed at the top end thereof; a top panel (11) that is mounted rotatably; a pair of casters (65), at least one such casters being provided at each of the front and the rear of a base portion (61) of the leg portion (13); a contact portion (63) that is provided on the base portion (61) of the leg portion (13); and a raising/lowering mechanism (69) that couples a movable portion, which is either one or more of the pair of casters (65) and the contact portion (63), and the top panel (11), and switches what comes into contact with a floor surface between the pair of casters (65) and the contact portion (63) by raising/lowering the movable portion in accordance with a rotation of the top panel (11). The raising/lowering mechanism (69) couples the top panel (11) and the movable portion through the opening (15).</p> |
