The structure has a side element (8) provided between a center tunnel (2) and a side billboard within a base region (9) of a passenger cabin. The side element extends upto a vertically and crosswise running heel plate (5) that limits right- and left-sided rear floor spaces (3, 4) to backward. A lower region of the heel plate is a component of a lower cross beam profile (10) in a region of an adjacent respective side element end (11). The element end runs into the cross beam profile, and is connected with an upper wall (13) of a side element profile with an edge flange (15) of the heel plate.
