An operating system for a mechanical load (e.g. an elevator) is driven by an electric motor drive through a drive mechanism. The electric motor drive includes an encoder loaded with data that profiles the operating system as a whole. The connection of the motor drive to the operating system enables the download from the encoder of the operating parameters for operating the load. |
