<p>The invention relates to an equipment and a method for the remote detection of materials of special interest. According to the invention, the equipment comprises a plastic casing (2) having a handle (1) on which there is located a start button (5) of an electronic circuit, on the front part of the casing (2) there being placed a support (4) of a swinging antenna (3) while, on the upper part of the casing there is fixed a channel switch (6), a green LED (7) indicating the equipment operation and a connector (8) to attach a battery charger ensuring the operation of the equipment, inside the casing (2) there being mounted the electronic circuit consisting of a frequency switch module (9), a frequency synthesis module (10) at the output of which there are obtained signals having a frequency specific to the type of substance to be detected, a sequencing circuit (11) which takes over the selected signal and forms signal trains to be transmitted to a radio-frequency amplifier (12) providing the antenna (3) with a signal. The method claimed by the invention consists of the emission of electromagnetic radiations by an electronic circuit, through a swinging telescopic antenna, in the frequency range characteristic to the chemical compounds to be detected, the chemical compound emitting, in its turn, a spectrum of electromagnetic radiations interacting with the exciter electromagnetic field, wherefrom there occur some electromagnetic forces acting upon the antenna and the equipment and determining the orientation of the antenna in the direction of the detected chemical compound.</p> |
