Vaginal applicator comprises at least a first storage unit (2) comprising at least a mucopolysaccharide (4), preferably hyaluronic acid and/or its derivative and/or salt with a first outlet opening (10) and at least a second storage unit (6) comprising at least an acid (8), preferably organic acid with a second outlet opening, where the first and the second outlet openings are arranged to form a first output unit for combined application of mucopolysaccharide and acid in the vagina. Independent claims are included for a vaginal applicator comprising either a combined storage container comprising a first storage unit comprising at least a mucopolysaccharide, preferably hyaluronic acid and/or its derivative and/or salt with a first outlet opening and at least a second storage unit comprising at least an acid, preferably organic acid, with a second outlet opening, where first and second outlet openings are arranged to form a second output unit, and at least a second application means comprising an opening essay that is reversibly associated with a second output opening, where the mucopolysaccharide and acid are applied into the vagina by at least a applicator through the opening essay; or at least a first storage unit and a release unit containing at least a mucopolysaccharide, preferably hyaluronic acid and/or its derivative and/or salt with a first wall and at least a second storage and release unit comprising at least an acid, preferably organic acid, with a second wall, where the mucopolysaccharide and acid are temporarily spatially separated by the first- or second storage and release units, and the first and second walls are at least partially degradable with the release of mucopolysaccharide and acid from the first- or second storage- and release unit under the effect of vaginal temperature- and/or humidity conditions.
