<p>The chain has a front clamping element, and a closure (7) that is arranged at a rear rope strand. A pin (5) is provided in the closure. A heel (1) is engaged into the pin. A lever (2) is provided at the closure and rotatable between two positions. The lever includes a driver (6) that secures the heel in one of the positions and releases the heel in the other position. The lever includes a downwardly open U-shaped bend at its front end (2a), where the U-shaped bend is rotated around 180 degree and retains an opening bracket.
