PURPOSE: A battery pack is provided to offer the improved safety and outputting property of the battery pack to users by properly maintaining the temperature around unit cells. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack(10) comprises the following: at least one battery module(11) formed by laminating plural unit cells; and at least one thermoelectric module(12) selectively performing a heating or cooling process of the battery module, mounted on the battery module. The thermoelectric module includes a peltier device with the controlled polarity of the current applied to an input terminal of the peltier device. The battery pack additionally includes a battery management system. |
